The C99 strain was one of the first strains from Female Seeds. The C99 feminized seeds were launched at the birth of Female Seeds in 2003. But Ferry actually first started working on this strain back in 1999. The first batch he produced of C99 were regular seeds for a different seedbank. Years of experimenting with the original Brothers Grimm C99 led to the creation of our very own C99. The origins are difficult to establish, but it was a long flowering Sweet Tai landrace crossed with a short flowering Sativa. Most likely, the Durban Poison.

This exciting American OG strain is the result of crossing an OG Kush mother with a highly potent original Chemdawg father. The OG Kush we used it’s a cut deriving from the San Fernando Valley. The Chemdawg, as others understood from the description we were giving already before, is deriving from a clone of the ChemDawg 91.

She is a strong, resistant and sturdy stemmed plant. Thanks to her genes the plants present OG Kush-type buds, really dense and pop-corn shaped.

Our Critical Sour strain develops specific features clearly inherited from the mum and the Auto Critical genes. She is easy to grow, as she is a very hardy plant. Critical Sour stays shorter than any of our other outdoor strains. One in thirty plants can autoflower.

The initial Grapefruit cannabis strain was created in 1998 as a regular strain from a special C99 clone crossed with a Thai Sativa, and an automatic strain to improve flowering time. So, the Grapefruit strain has been around for nearly 20 years!

Our Grapefruit feminized seeds have improved over the years and the female version was launched in 2003 at the start of Female Seeds. The Grapefruit strain currently being sold stems from an amazing line Ferry created in 2007. The ICE cannabis strain was first introduced as a regular strain through another seedbank that Ferry used to breed seeds for. The Pure AK cannabis strain is a Sativa/Indica hybrid. Because of the Skunk origins of the AK, Ferry (our master breeder) used a specially selected Skunk Special father to create the Pure AK strain. Our first Pure AK cannabis seeds were then introduced mid 2010 and have been a huge success ever since. The Pure AK cannabis strain produces very uniform plants with very little variation. It has a medium green color.
